‘Real ballers’: Some Leeds & Villa fans love Anfield man’s actions as ESL plan unravels

Leeds United and Aston Villa supporters have praised Liverpool midfielder, James Milner, for taking the first real stance against the now-car crash of a European Super League.

On Monday night, Milner, after Liverpool’s 1-1 draw at Leeds, was one of the first players to publicly make it clear that he ‘didn’t like’ the ESL and he was hoping it doesn’t happen, as he told Sky Sports.

That’s when it all started to fall apart because the likes of Jurgen Klopp made it clear that they are not in favour of the proposals, whilst Patrick Bamford issued the best response of them all.

He questioned on Sky Sports why there isn’t such an uproar to racism like there has been to these ESL plans, which is a question the powers that be and the world itself has to answer.

Well, fast forward to today and not only have all the English clubs pulled out of the ESL, but owners are now starting to apologise.

Arsenal and Liverpool have issued their apologies for them deciding to join the ESL in the first place, which will go down as the biggest own goal in football history.
