Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch has told Leeds Live that Joe Gelhardt is ready to play against Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea in the Premier League this weekend.
Marsch’s Leeds will take on Chelsea at Elland Road in the league on Sunday.
Gelhardt has recovered from his injury and is ready to feature against Chelsea, according to Marsch.
The 20-year-old striker came off the bench against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Elland Road in the Premier League, but the youngster had injury problems thereafter.
The youngster did not play against Southampton away from home at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League last weekend.
Jesse Marsch on Joe Gelhardt for Leeds United v Chelsea
Marsch told Leeds Live about Gelhardt: “Joffy back and ready to go.”

Encouraging
In our opinion, Leeds United having Joe Gelhardt back from injury is a huge boost to their chances of winning against Chelsea.
Patrick Bamford may not be fit, and that will be a blow for the West Yorkshire club.
Now, we know that Gelhardt has the quality to start matches for Leeds and make an impact.
Chelsea are a massive club and have a very strong team, and the 20-year-old will be relishing the prospect of starting against Thomas Tuchel’s side and scoring a goal or two.
