Bryan Gil has posted on his Instagram story that he is ‘ready’ as Tottenham Hotspur prepare to open their account for the 2022/23 Champions League campaign against Marseille on Wednesday night.
The 21-year-old is yet to feature for Antonio Conte this season, after the £22 million player seemingly saw a move to Valencia collapse on transfer deadline day.
Judging by the player’s most recent IG story ‘Ready for the Champions League’, added with him standing next to Davinson Sanchez and Ivan Perisic, it seems as though he will be part of tonight’s squad.
Last season, Gil was loaned out by Conte during the January transfer window and he enjoyed a fruitful spell in the colours of Valencia.
But that didn’t land him front and centre of Conte’s thoughts during pre-season, who was probably happy to see him leave in the summer because he hasn’t used him so far.
Either way, with games now coming thick and fast for Spurs, the Spanish winger might just get his wish, with the north London side taking on Manchester City at the weekend, before travelling to Portugal to play Sporting Lisbon next week.
