Leeds United travel to Reading this Saturday looking to strengthen their grip on a play-off place in the Championship, and, while there was an international break in between, build on the momentum they developed after beating Brighton two weeks ago.

One of the surprise decisions made by Garry Monk ahead of the clash with the Seagulls was to leave Pontus Jansson on the bench and instead hand Liam Cooper a fairly rare start.

With Jansson impressing while away with Sweden, it seems highly likely that Monk will promote him back to the starting lineup unless he deems that Cooper – who did not feature for Scotland despite being called up – is considerably fresher.

Meanwhile, the other change it perhaps would not be a surprise to see involves Souleymane Doukara.

The forward was excellent in the previous meeting between the two sides, and may offer the back four more support than Hadi Sacko – who arguably, put in his best display for a few weeks against Brighton.

Therefore, he may well step up from the bench while Alfonso Pedraza keeps his place on the opposite wing.

For Reading, Jaap Stam may well recall the likes of Paul McShane and Liam Kelly after the pair missed the win over Sheffield Wednesday before the break.
