Barrow joined Reading from Swansea after a dismal Leeds loan spell.

Modou Barrow has posted on Twitter ahead of Reading’s clash against Leeds United as he looks to prove himself to the Elland Road faithful after a flop loan spell with the Whites in 2016-17.
Barrow, 26, joined Reading in the summer of 2017 and has since clocked up 57 appearances in all competitions – finding the back of the net 10 times and creating eight more goals from out wide.
He joined The Royals immediately after a half-season loan spell at Leeds during the second half of the 2016-17 season, where he joined the Whites under his former Swansea manager Garry Monk.
Flopping at Leeds, Barrow returned to Elland Road last season with Reading – scoring the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win. He posted on Twitter ahead of Tuesday night’s clash, hoping that he can replicate last season’s result.
Paul Clement was quoted by Reading’s official website over the weekend as saying that Barrow was “very doubtful” for the Leeds clash, after missing Saturday’s 0-0 draw against Wigan Athletic.
During his loan spell at Leeds, Barrow managed just 149 minutes spread across five appearances – four of which were from the bench in a frustrating spell that angered fans.
Leeds are favourites to pick up three points on Tuesday night, with Leeds sitting in third place in the Championship table and Reading 17 places below the Whites. Leeds are likely to start youngsters Aapo Halme and Will Huffer once again.
