West Ham United are in the Europa League next season, and fans will be looking for big additions as a result.
The Hammers need to bolster David Moyes’ squad for the task ahead, but they’re also casting on eye on the future too.
Earlier this week, West Ham confirmed the signing of Reading forward Thierry Nevers on a three-year deal with the option of a fourth.
Nevers, 19, spent nine years in the Reading setup but he’s now leaving in order to pursue a Premier League career with West Ham.
Capable of playing up front or out wide, Nevers scored three goals in nine Premier League games this past season, and scored against West Ham last year.
West Ham will be hoping to develop the youngster, and Reading fans seem pretty split on his move to East London.

Some believe that Nevers is a real miss for the Royals, and he could become the next Michail Antonio – another former Reading youngster who ended up at West Ham.
Others think that this is a ‘weird signing’ for West Ham as Nevers has been injured a lot and not been close to first-team action, meaning this one could go either way for the Hammers.
