Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to manager Mauricio Pochettino’s comments on Harry Kane.
Spurs boss Pochettino has told Sky Sports that Kane could feature for the North London outfit in the Champions League final this season, if they get that far in Europe’s premier club competition.
The England international striker is on the sidelines at the moment with an ankle injury he suffered during Tottenham’s Champions League quarter-final first-leg tie against Manchester City.
Tottenham got the better of City over two legs to progress to the semi-finals, where they will face Dutch giants Ajax.
Ajax have been the surprise package in the Champions League this season, and they cannot be taken lightly.
Kane’s return to the squad and to the substitutes’ bench will enhance Tottenham’s chances of winning the final.
The 25-year-old striker has scored 17 goals in the Premier League and five in the Champions League for Spurs this season, according to WhoScored.
Tottenham fans, though, not want manager Pochettino – who is very popular among the White Hart Lane faithful – to think that far ahead and do not want him to jinx it, as some of the comments on Twitter below show.
