Celtic winger Jota has reportedly decided to leave the Hoops for Al Ittihad in the summer transfer window.

Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Celtic winger Jota has agreed personal terms with Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad.

The Portuguese winger wants to move to Al Ittihad, who are now in talks with Celtic over a transfer fee.

Romano has added that Jota has accepted the contract offer from Al Ittihad.

Jota now likely to leave Celtic for Al Ittihad

In our opinion, Celtic winger Jota now looks likely to leave the Scottish Premiership champions in the summer transfer window.

If the 24-year-old has already decided to leave the Hoops and has agreed personal terms with Al Ittihad, then it is unlikely that Celtic will be able to or even want to stop him.

And that the Bhoys are in talks with Al Ittihad indicates that they are willing to cash in on the Portuguese winger.

We believe that Jota will be missed if he leaves Celtic.

The winger has won the Scottish Premiership title twice, and the Scottish Cup and the Scottish League Cup once each with the Bhoys.

Last season, the Portuguese winger made 26 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Celtic.

Jota scored 11 goals and gave 11 assists in those games.
