Swansea City boss Paul Clement should call in a favour at Bayern Munich and ask to take Renato Sanches on loan.

Swansea City will be hoping to avoid another relegation battle next season and the signing of Bayern Munich starlet Renato Sanches would set down a marker.
Swans boss Paul Clement would be wise to take full advantage of the close ties he has with the German Champions. The 45-year-old was previously assistant manager, alongside Carlo Ancelotti, before taking over at the Liberty Stadium in January.
After successfully guiding the club to Premier League safety, Clement will now look to bring in his own recruits after managing a largely inherited squad.
Whilst there will be money to spend, Clement will want to utilise the loan market, especially with the contacts he has assembled during his already decorated coaching career.
Sanches has been linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena following a disappointing first season in Germany. The 19-year-old made just 25 appearances in all competitions last season.
The Portuguese midfielder joined Bayern from Benfica for £27.5 million in May 2015 (Sky Sports), he then helped lead Portugal to the Euro 2016 title.

According to the Sun, Manchester United are mulling over making a £30 million bid for Sanches this summer, after reportedly being one of the clubs to miss out on him last summer.
However, Bayern will likely be more willing to let Sanches leave the club on a temporary deal rather than a permanent one. A move to Swansea will likely bring with it the opportunity of first-team football and this would be beneficial to all parties concerned.
Bayern boss Ancelotti will have no issues with sending one of the club’s brightest prospects to his long-term trusted friend Clement. Sanches could flourish in the Premier League and once he has regained his confidence, he has the ability to become a key figure in a potential Swansea City resurgence.
