RB Salzburg have aimed a joke about Leeds United signing a bunch of their players after they announced the arrival of Maximilian Wober.
Wober has joined Leeds in a deal worth £11 million (Sky Sports), as he has been brought in as an option at both centre-back and left-back.
The versatile operator is one of the many former RB Salzburg stars to have joined Jesse Marsch’s side, including Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen just this summer.
It is quite rare to see any club sign as many as 3 players from another team in the same season.
And so far, the ex-Salzburg pair have fared well since joining Leeds United.
However, due to Marsch formerly managing the Austrian side, it seems as if he has prioritised reuniting with a number of his ex-players, who are well-versed with his system.
And now, another star man has decided to leave the Red Bull Arena to play his football at the glorious Elland Road.
RB Salzburg aim joke at Leeds United after Maximilian Wober announcement

RB Salzburg have sent a joke at Leeds United’s way, hinting at them signing a number of their players after they announced the coup of Maximilian Wober.
“Some things never change. Jokes aside, enjoy Maxi [Maximilian Wober]!”, they commented under Leeds’ official announcement tweet.
Playful banter and nothing else
Several clubs, both in the German and Austrian Bundesliga have a habit of being cheeky online, especially using Twitter as a means of doing so.
RB Salzburg have done the same in this instance, merely having a laugh and joke with Leeds United after the departure of Maximilian Wober.
Funnily enough, this is not the only tweet in which the Champions League side have referenced the signing after Wober was officially announced as a Leeds player.
