Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig are reportedly keen on signing Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe again in the summer.

The 18-year-old joined the Bundesliga side on a six-month loan deal back in January but a groin injury hurt his chances of regular game time. Smith Rowe managed just three substitute appearances during his short stay at the club but that doesn’t seem to have put the Germans off pursuing another deal.
An Arsenal academy product, Smith Rowe played six times for Unai Emery’s side this season and bagged three goals. That is an exceptional return for someone who only turned 18 last year and Arsenal will be keen to see him fulfil his potential in the coming years.
Arsenal already have a success story returning from Germany in young Reiss Nelson who made quite an impression in his season-long loan spell at Hoffenheim. The 19-year-old took the German top-flight by storm as he scored six goals in his first seven games.

Nelson’s performances didn’t quite have the same kind of impact in the second half of the campaign but the experience he gained in another league will have played a huge part in his progression. The youngster stands a chance to be a part of Arsenal’s first-team next season due to their lack of wide players and his time in Germany will certainly help him settle in.
Arsenal can expect the same with Smith Rowe if he can keep himself fit next season and the youngster will develop massively under a manager like Julian Nagelsmann, the same manager who gave a chance to Nelson at Hoffenheim last season.
