Leeds United should line up a move for Hull City goalkeeper David Marshall if Rob Green departs for Arsenal.
Leeds United could lose Rob Green to Arsenal this summer. As reported by the Daily Star, the Gunners are targeting Green as back-up for Petr Cech.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger looks set to lose David Ospina and Wojiech Szczesny this summer, leaving him without an experienced understudy to Cech. Former England goalkeeper Green is being lined up to fill the void.
The 37-year-old played in all 46 Championship games in his debut season for Leeds after moving from Queens Park Rangers last summer. However, he could be tempted by a move back to London, in what would be one last big move.

Leeds signed Felix Wiedwald from German side Werder Bremen for an undisclosed fee earlier this week (BBC). The 27-year-old made 26 appearances in the Bundesliga last season but has no previous experience of playing in England.
Whilst it would be safe to assume that Wiedwald will be the first-choice goalkeeper at Elland Road if Green was to leave, it would be wise for new Leeds boss Thomas Christiansen to target another goalkeeper with Championship experience.
One player that would fit this criteria perfectly would be Hull City and shot-stopper David Marshall.
The 32-year-old has endured a torrid time since moving to Humberside last summer. After conceding 46 goals in 18 appearances for the Tigers, he has fallen down the pecking order at the KCOM Stadium.
Prior to his spell at Hull, Marshall was considered as one of the best goalkeepers outside of the Premier League. Despite the club’s relegation to the Championship, Marshall looks no closer to reclaiming the number one jersey.
Leeds should take advantage of the uncertainty around the Scotland international’s future and offer him a fresh start.
With 321 Championship games under his belt, Marshall is well proven at this level and has the potential to reignite his career at Elland Road.
