West Ham United are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship.

The former Chelsea and Manchester United midfielder believes that Hart, who joined the Hammers on a season-long loan deal from City in the summer of 2017, will be the key player in David Moyes’s side’s quest to avoid relegation to the Championship at the end of the season.
West Ham are 17th in the Premier League table at the moment with 30 points from as many matches, just two points above the relegation zone.

Former Rangers and Queens Park Rangers midfielder Wilkins believes that 30-year-old Hart will be key to the Hammers’ chances of avoiding the drop to the Championship.
Wilkins said on the Premier League Daily show on Sky Sports Premier League on Monday morning (10:38am, March 26, 2018) when asked for his key player in West Ham’s relegation fight: “I think I went for Joe Hart.
“Joe is having a bit of a sticky period, an inconsistent period at this moment in time, but he has got bundles of experience. At least he is positive in what he is doing.”

Joe Hart struggles
Hart has struggled this season and has made a quite a number of mistakes for the West Ham.
The England international goalkeeper is not guaranteed a place in the West Ham starting lineup.
It is quite strange of Wilkins to pick Hart as the key player in the Hammers’ fight for survival, given that there are much better players in the team, such as Manuel Lanzini and Marko Arnautovic.
