Ray Wilkins has told Sky Sports News, which was broadcast on 9th January, that it breaks his heart to admit that Tottenham Hotspur are definitely Premier League title contenders this season.

And the former Aston Villa assistant manager insists that Tottenham have the capabilities to challenge for the Premier League and the FA Cup this term.

“I think Tottenham are a really, really good outfit,” he said. “I know it breaks our hearts to say it, being Chelsea boys, but they are a really good outfit.
“They would struggle without Kane and Alli, no question. But Tottenham can have a massive influence on who wins the Premier League and the cup competitions as well.”
Tottenham beat Wilkins’ side, Chelsea, in their last Premier League match to end their London rival’s 13 match winning streak.
Spurs have now moved up to third in the top flight standings, and they have put some pressure on Antonio Conte’s men.
