Ray Wilkins predicts Tottenham Hotspur v Real Madrid

Tottenham Hotspur will face Real Madrid in the Champions League this evening.

Former Rangers and Queens Park Rangers midfielder Ray Wilkins predicted on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast on talkSPORT on Wednesday morning (08:13am, November 1, 2017) that Tottenham Hotspur will lose against Real Madrid this evening.

Tottenham will return to action in a few hours’ time when they take on Madrid at the Wembley Stadium in London in Champions League Group H.

Spurs will head into the game against the Spanish and European giants on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Manchester United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

However, last month, the North London outfit played out a 1-1 draw with Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Champions League.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will head into the match against Madrid with confidence and will fancy their chances of picking up all three points.

Madrid have one of the strongest sides in the Champions League, but Zinedine Zidane’s side are not going so well in La Liga.

Former Manchester United and Chelsea midfielder Wilkins, though, does not envisage Spurs winning against Madrid this evening.

“Tottenham have some wonderfully gifted players themselves, but I still expect Real Madrid to probably come through there,” said Wilkins on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast on talkSPORT on Wednesday morning (08:13am, November 1, 2017).
