West Ham United are said to be wanting Stuart Pearce to act as David Moyes’ number two.

Moyes was announced as West Ham’s new manager earlier today, and his appointment has not gone down well.
However, Wilkins feels that Moyes has already made a clever move, with Pearce targeted to be his number two at the London Stadium, according to the London Evening Standard.

“That’s a good shout [from Moyes]. I think the introduction of Stuart would be a massive coup for West Ham,” Wilkins said.
Pearce’s arrival at West Ham is likely to go down far better than Moyes’, but the Scot still has some serious work to do at the London Stadium.
West Ham’s fans have been left bemused by the board’s decision to go for Moyes over other some other options available.

West Ham parted company with Slaven Bilic earlier this week, following their 4-1 defeat to Liverpool in their latest outing.
Moyes’ first match at the helm will come against Watford at Vicarage Road on 19th November, and the former Manchester United and Sunderland boss will need to get off to a fast start to win the critics over.
