Would Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge be a good signing for West Ham United in the summer transfer window?

Daniel Sturridge is not getting much playing time at Liverpool at the moment. The striker has struggled with injuries over the past two or so years, and is not guaranteed a place in the Reds’ starting lineup even when he is fit.
The 27-year-old has scored two goals and created nine chances in 17 Premier League appearances for Liverpool so far this season.
During the 2015-16 campaign, the England international scored eight goals and created seven chances in 14 league games for the Reds.

The former Manchester City and Chelsea man is a very talented player, but fitness is a main concern for him, and it will not come as a surprise to anyone if Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp decides to part company with the striker.
West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic recently admitted to The Liverpool Echo that he is interested in signing Sturridge from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
Former Chelsea and Manchester United midfielder Ray Wilkins does not think that Sturridge would be a good signing for West Ham.
“There’s no doubt this guy has immense talent and he really is talented, but he can’t get on a pitch,” said Wilkins about Sturridge on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT last Friday morning (broadcast from 6am, April 28, 2017).
“West Ham don’t need somebody who is going to sit on the touchline,” added Wilkins.
