Harry Kane has scored six goals in his last five matches for Tottenham Hotspur.
Ray Wilkins has said on Sky Sports News, which was broadcast on 7th December, that Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane is like Marmite – in the sense that you either love or hate him.
Kane has netted over 20 goals in the Premier League in the last two seasons, and he has been prolific once again this time around.
Wilkins says that Kane’s style reminds him of Jermain Defoe’s, as he is capable of shooting with either foot.
“With Harry Kane, he’s a bit like Defoe, who’s a bit marmite – you either love him or you hate him,” Wilkins said. “What they have is, they have two feet, and they can move it half a year on his left side, or his right side.”
Kane has made up for lost time this season, after missing a sizeable chunk with injury.
The 22-year-old has been in brilliant form since making it off the treatment table, and he has netted six goals in his last five appearances.
Kane has already reached eight goals for the season, in all competitions, and his return has significantly improved Tottenham’s attacking threat.
Spurs are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table, and they sit just three points behind Manchester City, who occupy the last spot in the Champions League qualification places.
Tottenham are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Manchester United at Old Trafford.
