West Ham United have already seen one bid rejected for Hull City winger Robert Snodgrass.

Ray Wilkins has told Sky Sports News, which was broadcast on 9th January, that Robert Snodgrass would add quality to West Ham United’s line-up.

West Ham have already had a bid rejected by Hull City for the Scotland international, but they could submit an improved offer in the near future.

And Wilkins believes that West Ham would be getting an excellent player, if they were to complete a deal for Snodgrass.

“They are going to have to put their offer by a large figure, but he gives you quality,” Wilkins said. “Robert can put great balls in from open play and set plays. He has been shining in a side that has been struggling.”

West Ham’s first offer for Snodgrass was only £3 million (The Sun), and Hull are likely to be looking for a much higher fee than that if they are to sell their prized attacking asset.

Snodgrass has arguably been Hull’s best player so far this season, and he leads their scoring charts.

The 29-year-old has netted nine goals in 21 appearances for the Tigers in all competitions so far this season.

West Ham are yet to complete a signing in the January transfer window to date, but they are expected to bring in new faces before the end of the month.
