Speaking on the Seaman Says Podcast, Ray Parlour has been speaking about the atmosphere at the Emirates Stadium this season.
The former Gunners midfielder has been impressed by what he’s seen from Arsenal this term, and he says that he’s also been happy to see the atmosphere at the Emirates improving.
Indeed, Parlour says that fans are now behind the team and the atmosphere is so much better than it once was.
What’s been said?
Parlour gave his view on the Arsenal fans this season.
“I think they’ve played well, they played well against Man City and lost, but the thing I’ve noticed over at the Emirates this year is that the atmosphere is so much better. They’re getting behind the players and they’re showing that grit and resilience right now,” Parlour said.

Bound to improve
The atmosphere at the Emirates this season has been better, but to be honest, it was always going to be.
Let’s not forget, for the past two years fans have been completely kept out of stadia up and down the country, and now that they’re allowed back in, they’re going to savour every moment of it.
Even supporters who’ve spent years moaning or booing at football grounds are just happy to be back, and that positivity is clear in almost every ground in England.
Yes, the fact that Arsenal have improved is helping, but the atmosphere at the Emirates was always going to improve after a long covid break.
