Ray Parlour has stated on Twitter that Arsenal played well tonight, and he has also praised the Tottenham Hotspur defence.

Tottenham have got the better of Arsenal 2-0 at home in the North London derby this evening.

Son Heung-min put Spurs in the lead with a superb goal after only 13 minutes, and Harry Kane doubled the advantage in first-half injury time.

Arsenal legend Parlour was following the match, and he believes that Mikel Arteta’s side played well and has also hailed the Tottenham defence.

Meanwhile, former Spurs star Graham Roberts has mocked Arsenal on Twitter following the match.

Arsenal need to do better

Arsenal did try and put pressure on the Tottenham defence, but the visiting team could not find the killer pass.

According to BBC Sport, the Gunners took 11 shots, but only two of them were on target. According to CBSSports, Arsenal also put in 44 crosses.

Arsenal are attacking well, but the problem is that they are not getting the final passes right and are simply not scoring goals.

It is clear that for the Gunners to challenge for the Champions League places in the Premier League table this season, they have to improve.
