Arsenal sold Serge Gnabry in 2016.

Arsenal’s decision to sell Serge Gnabry in 2016 seemed premature at the time.
Lauded as one of the most talented players to come through their academy in years, Arsenal gave up on Gnabry too easily, selling him to Werder Bremen.
Gnabry is now at Bayern Munich, and played a key role for the German giants against Liverpool in the Champions League last night.
The winger was a threat throughout the stalemate at Anfield, and came close to scoring on a couple of occasions.
Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour noticed his performance, commenting that he is sure that selling the winger is a decision the Gunners got wrong.
Gnabry made his debut for Arsenal’s first team in the 2013/14 season and signed a five year contract.
Injury then hampered his progress, and an odd decision to send him to West Brom did not work out.
Instead of sticking by him, Arsenal decided to cash in, and he has gone on to prove them wrong, with seven goals already this season for Bayern.
Still only 23-years-old, there is a lot more to come from the winger.
