Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour predicted on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (9:55am, November 5, 2018) that Wolverhampton Wanderers will finish in the top 10 of the Premier League this season.

Wolves, who won automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of last season, are 11th in the Premier League table at the moment with 15 points from 11 matches.

Nuno’s side are nine points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur and nine points above the relegation zone.

Former Arsenal and Middlesbrough midfielder Parlour believes that Wolves will end up in the top half of the league table this season.

Parlour said about Wolves on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (9:55am, November 5, 2018) about Wolves: “I said at the start of the season I think they would be in the top 10.

“I am not going to change my mind now because I think they have shown that they can compete with good sides.”

Top-10 finish achievable

Wolves do need to score more goals in order to win matches consistently, but there is no doubt that the Wanderers have quality in their squad.

The Wanderers play good football, and with players such as Rui Patricio, Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho in their team, the Molineux Stadium faithful should be optimistic about the season ahead.

If Wolves are able to sign a proven goalscorer in the January transfer window, then they should comfortably finish in the top 10 of the Premier League this season.
