Ray Parlour has told TalkSPORT on Friday (7.40AM) that Arsenal will inflict a first Premier League defeat for Tottenham on Saturday, as the Gunners play host to Antonio Conte’s side in what could already be a crucial clash at this stage.
With Arsenal sitting top of the Premier League and securing 18 points from a possible 21, Spurs sit a point behind in third – behind Manchester City on goal, but are still unbeaten. They have drawn against Chelsea and West Ham so far.
An incredibly close game on the face of it, with perhaps, home advantage making Arsenal slight favourites. But both sides have the kind of players to change a game – and with it being a rivalry, form completely goes out the window.
Asked to predict Saturday lunchtime’s affair between the two sides, Parlour thinks Arsenal will get revenge for Spurs finishing fourth – and winning 3-0 last time the two faced: “I’m going 2-1 to Arsenal, Jesus to score. He is the man.”

Parlour: Arsenal will inflict first defeat for Tottenham, Jesus to score
It is incredibly hard to predict, but one team has a slight advantage, it would be Arsenal. Dejan Kulusevski is a doubt for Spurs, with a hamstring injury. Arsenal benefit from £91k-a-week star striker Gabriel Jesus not called up by Brazil.
But Spurs do have an ace up their sleeve. That is, Son Heung-min. He is back in form. Coming off the bench last time out, he scored a hat-trick in 13 minutes. It comes after failing to score in the previous eight games so far this season.
Since his hat-trick, he scored in friendlies against Costa Rica and Cameroon – five goals in three. Richarlison and Harry Kane also scored during the break and are fit. If Arsenal can defend well, they will have a chance – but they need to.
