Ray Parlour has said that Arsenal target, Declan Rice must leave West Ham United in the summer of 2023.
Just recently, it was reported that the ‘incredible’ England international could be sold only for a fee in excess of £100 million by David Moyes’ side, due to the price tag set by Aston Villa during the sale of Jack Grealish, which is something Mikel Arteta’s side are aware of.
However, Ray Parlour has emphasised that whatever said and done, Arsenal-linked midfielder Declan Rice must leave West Ham to sign for a top club in the summer.
Ray Parlour tells Declan Rice to leave West Ham
Hammers supporters will most certainly be incensed by this take, as the 24-year-old ‘superstar’ has come up the ranks and represents the club like no other.

However, Ray Parlour still feels the Arsenal-linked Declan Rice has to bid farewell to West Ham in the summer for pastures new.
“Declan Rice has got to go, not being disrespectful to West Ham, to a bigger club, Champions League football on a regular basis and do it week in, week out at a big club”, Ray Parlour said about the Arsenal target on talkSPORT.
The Englishman should choose Arsenal if the opportunity comes knocking
Considering the East Londoners’ once-burgeoning project is declining right on front of our eyes as well, it’s impossible to disagree with the Gunners legend.
And if the ‘top’ Declan Rice does listen to Ray Parlour and leaves West Ham, his next destination should undoubtedly be Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta and Co. could build a dynasty in the coming years, with the way they have played this season, their excellent recruitment and how young their team is.
While the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United are also likely to try their best to sign him, playing at the Emirates Stadium on a weekly basis should be his goal.
