Moussa Dembele played well for Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League at the weekend.

Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour said on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 6am, September 19, 2016) that Moussa Dembele is Tottenham Hotspur’s best midfield player.
Dembele returned to Premier League action at the weekend after serving his suspension when he featured against Sunderland.
The 29-year-old midfielder started the match at White Hart Lane on Sunday evening and played for 74 minutes.
The Belgium international played well, as Spurs registered a narrow 1-0 victory over relegation candidates Sunderland.

Dembele was brilliant and created as many as three chances during his time on the pitch.
Former Arsenal midfielder Parlour believes that the former Fulham man is Tottenham’s best midfield player.
“I think Dembele for me would be the most important player in that midfield area,” said Parlour on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 6am, September 19, 2016).
“I mean, Wanyama has done okay. We know he is good on the ball, Dele, he is a player that can create chances.”

Dembele was one of Tottenham’s best players last season, and he will be a key figure for the team during the 2016-17 campaign.
Spurs are a better team with the Belgian in the starting lineup, and it will be hard for head coach Mauricio Pochettino to drop him.
The North London outfit, though, are not over-reliant on Dembele, as they do have several very good midfielders, such as Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen, Victor Wanyama and Moussa Sissoko.
