Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has already been linked with a return to the Premier League.
Ray Parlour has told the Daily Record that he believes that Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers could be linked with the Arsenal job in the summer, but he has doubts over whether the 44-year-old manage would move to the Emirates Stadium.
With Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal future currently up in the air, plenty of potential candidates have been linked with the Gunners’ job.
Rodgers is yet to be strongly linked with Arsenal, but he could be on the North London’s side’s list of targets.
However, Parlour has some questions over whether Rodgers would leave Celtic at this moment in time, as he seems so happy at Parkhead.
“I’m sure if Arsene was to go then Brendan Rodgers would be one of the names mentioned as a possible replacement,” the former Arsenal midfielder said.
“He’ll probably get linked with a lot of the jobs that come up in England but whether he would take them is a different matter.
“I could see the attraction of going to an Arsenal but Celtic are a huge club – as Alan Brazil keeps telling me.
“He’s proved he’s a quality boss. His stock is on the rise again with what he is doing at Celtic.
“There’s going to be interest in him but I could see him being loyal to Celtic and sticking around a few years, and enjoying some success.”
Rodgers has already suggested that he sees himself at Celtic for the long-term, as he is looking for sustained success at the Glasgow side.
Celtic are already dominating Scottish football, and they remain unbeaten in domestic action this season.
Celtic are currently 24 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, and they have already won the League Cup this term.
