Tottenham Hotspur have not signed a player during the previous two transfer windows.

Ray Parlour had admitted that reported Tottenham Hotspur target Wilfried Zaha is ‘brilliant to watch’ as he expects him to leave Crystal Palace in the summer if the club are offered a ‘really good deal’.
The Bleacher Report previously claimed that Spurs were looking to make a move for the Palace high flyer when the transfer window re-opens this summer.
Speaking to TalkSport (27/04/2019 at 1:50 pm), Parlour spoke about Zaha’s future at Selhurst Park and if he expects him to leave the club.
“He [Roy Hodgson] knows exactly how the club is running,” Parlour told TalkSport. “It has got to suit the club itself. If the price is right and they think they get a really good deal then he will be leaving.
“They will probably sit down with the player. He’s already quoted that he wants to play Champions League football. Whether he’ll step into a club that can do that we have to wait and see. But, he’s their key player. He’s brilliant to watch. He runs at players. He’s positive. It’s a big, big loss for Crystal Palace.”
For the past two transfer windows, Tottenham have opted against signing any players, but following their move into their new stadium that may well now change.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are on course to finish in the Champions League places which will help their cause in signing the top talents across Europe.
There is no doubt that Zaha is one of those players, not playing in European competition, that is considered a top player as his performances for Palace have proven this season.
Over the course of the season, he has played 32 Premier League matches for Roy Hodgson’s side, scoring nine goals and supplying his teammates with eight assists [transfermarkt].
