Liverpool are among the clubs reportedly interested in Matthijs de Ligt of Ajax.

According to The Mirror, Liverpool are interested in signing De Ligt from Ajax in the summer transfer window.
Manchester United are also claimed to be among the clubs who want to secure the services of the Netherlands international centre-back.
Former Arsenal midfielder Parlour believes that the 19-year-old would be a good signing for Liverpool.
Parlour said about De Ligt to Liverpool speculation on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (6:47am, June 10, 2019): “That would be unbelievable.”
Parlour added: “If they can get him as well, De Ligt, that could be the difference.”

Making Liverpool better
De Ligt is one of the best and most promising young central defenders in the world, and there is no doubt that the 19-year-old will make Liverpool better at the back.
The youngster already plays with Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk for the Netherlands international football team, and the duo could form a formidable partnership at the back for the Reds as well.
According to WhoScored, De Ligt scored three goals and provided one assist in 33 Eredivisie appearances and scored two goals in 11 Champions League matches for Ajax this season.
