West Ham United are currently in 17th place in the Premier League table.
Ray Parlour has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on 12th September, that he believes West Ham United will break out of their poor run of form soon.
The Hammers are stuck down in 17th place in the Premier League table, and there is a great amount of discontent being felt around the London club at the moment.
West Ham’s move to their new stadium has not gone as smoothly as many were hoping, and their poor form on the pitch has only served to make matters worse.
Parlour believes that good times are around the corner for the Hammers, though, as Dimitri Payet’s return should help them regain their attacking verve.
“They’re missing Cresswell at left-back, but it’s good that Payet is back now,” Parlour said.
“It’s going to be a tough season, in the new stadium. It’s going to be difficult, but Bilic is the right man and he’ll get it right. There will be an investment in January, and you can see them going on a run.”
Although Slaven Bilic is not yet under pressure as West Ham manager, there have been some frustrations directed towards his recruitment and tactics.
The Hammers’ most frustrating result so far came in their most recent match, where they threw away a 2-0 lead to lose 4-2 to Watford.
West Ham are next in action against fellow strugglers West Bromwich Albion, and they will be desperate to get the three points, which would help them start to move up the table.
