Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour has told Sky Sports that Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool will finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.

The former England international expects Manchester City to win the league title and city-rivals Manchester United to finish second.

The 44-year-old believes that Liverpool will clinch the third spot and has backed Tottenham to end up fourth.

Parlour told Sky Sports when asked about his Premier League top four: “Obviously Manchester City. I am going to go with Manchester United second. I will go Liverpool third, Spurs fourth.”

Could Ray Parlour’s prediction come true?

City have pretty much won the Premier League title this season, and at this moment in time, it does look likely that United, Liverpool and Tottenham will end up in the Champions League places.

Jose Mourinho’s United have a very strong squad, and one suspects that they will get the job done.

Liverpool’s defence remains a problem, but if they continue to bang in the goals for fun, then Jurgen Klopp’s side should finish in the Champions League places for the second season in a row.

Tottenham should also end up in the top four. After all, Spurs have some of the best players in the Premier League, such as Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Hugo Lloris.

Spurs and Liverpool, though, will face competition from Chelsea, who are just two points off the top four.

As for Arsenal, although the Gunners are still in the race, it is hard to see them having a better end to the season than Liverpool or Tottenham.
