Liverpool defeated Spartak Moscow 7-0; while Tottenham won 3-0 against APOEL.

Former Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur player Ray Clemence has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his reaction from Wednesday’s Champions League games.
Liverpool finished top of their group after beating Spartak Moscow in their final group game on Wednesday evening.

Jurgen Klopp’s side won 7-0 at Anfield, with Philippe Coutinho bagging a hattrick. Sadio Mane scored twice, while Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah also got on the scoresheet.
As a result of this big margin win, the Reds ended Group H with 23 goals in just six games – the most any English side have scored in group stage in Champions League history.
Spurs finished top of Group H with a routine victory against Apoel. Fernando Llorente scored his first Spurs goal in his 17th appearance, and goals from Son Heung-min and Georges-Kevin N’Koudou sealed a comfortable victory for the home side at Wembley.

With this victory, Spurs finished with the highest point tally in this season’s Champions League group stage with 16 points.
