Ray Clemence commented on Liverpool and Tottenham results from their Champions League games.

Liverpool earned an emphatic 7-0 win against Slovenian side Maribor to record the biggest away win by an English team in the history of the European Cup on Tuesday night.
Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur drew 1-1 against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu, and Manchester City defeated Napoli 2-1 at the Etihad to cap off an excellent night for the English clubs in this competition.

Former Liverpool and Tottenham player Ray Clemence has taken to social networking site Twitter to share his reaction after the match.
With this victory, Liverpool have moved to the top of the Champions League Group E, after Sevilla were beaten 5-1 by Spartak Moscow.
Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah scored twice, while Philippe Coutinho, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Trent Alexander-Arnold found the net as well for the Reds.

Spurs took the lead in the first half as Raphael Varane diverted Serge Aurier’s right-wing cross into his own net. Real Madrid restored parity through Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored from the penalty spot.
With this result (plus Borussia Dortmund held 1-1 by Apoel), Spurs are now in a great position to qualify for the knockout rounds.
