Liverpool defeated Brighton 5-1. Tottenham drew 1-1 against Watford in the Premier League.

Former Liverpool and Tottenham player Ray Clemence took to social networking site Twitter to express his reaction from Saturday’s games.
Liverpool registered a 5-1 win away to Brighton, with Emre Can, Roberto Firmino, and Philippe Coutinho – all getting their names on the scoresheet.

The Reds were dangerous going forward, and scored two brilliant goals on the counter. Clemence was particularly impressed with the Reds’ attacking play, and hailed it as “outstanding”.
With that victory, Liverpool have moved into the top four, ahead of Arsenal. They are unbeaten in six Premier League games, winning five of them.
It was another disappointing result for Tottenham as the north London club only managed a 1-1 draw against Watford at Vicarage Road.
Christian Kabasele gave the hosts an early lead when he headed in from six yards from Tom Cleverley’s corner.

In the 25th minute, Son Heung-min finished off Christian Eriksen’s cross to restore parity. However, Spurs played most of the second half with 10 men after defender Davinson Sanchez was dismissed for elbowing Richarlison.
Clemence noted that it was a “disappointing” result, and the sending off didn’t help either.
