Former Liverpool goalkeeper Ray Clemence reacts to Alisson’s error at the weekend.

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson was caught out at the weekend by over elaborating with the ball at his feet.
His second half mistake allowed Rachid Ghezzal to score and gave Leicester a way back into a game they had seemed out of.
Liverpool won the game 2-1, sparing Alisson’s blushes.
His mistake was still the big talking point after the final whistle.

Former Liverpool goalkeeper Ray Clemence reacted on Twitter to Alisson’s error, and suggested it is a harsh lesson in the difference between the Premier League and Serie A, following the goalkeeper’s summer switch from Roma.
Liverpool fans are still reeling from goalkeeper Loris Karius’ pair of errors in the Champions League final against Real Madrid.
The last thing they wanted to see was his big money replacement dropping a clanger early on, but perhaps it is better he gets it out of his system early.
If there is any context which should reassure supporters, it is that this was the only goal Alisson had conceded in four matches this season.
