Liverpool’s Sadio Mane celebrates scoring their third goal against Hull City
Jurgen Klopp’s men have been in great form in front of goal, and that proved to be the case again as the Reds swept Hull aside in devastating fashion.
Adam Lallana got the ball rolling for Liverpool with the opening goal, before Ahmed Elmohamady was sent off for Hull, presenting James Milner with the chance to score from the spot – a chance he took.
Sadio Mane made it 3-0 before a shock goal back for Hull through David Meyler, but Philippe Coutinho and another Milner penalty rounded off the scoring.
Tottenham’s Son Heung-min celebrates scoring their second goal against Middlesbrough with team mates
Meanwhile, Tottenham were up in the North East as they travelled to take on newly-promoted Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium, having beaten Sunderland 1-0 last weekend.
Spurs were unbeaten heading into the game, and they remain unbeaten after in-form winger Son Heung-min struck two goals in the first 25 minutes to put Mauricio Pochettino’s 2-0 up.
Ben Gibson did grab a goal back for Middlesbrough, but Tottenham held on for another impressive three points – and ex-goalkeeper Clemence took to Twitter to congratulate both teams.
