Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur won against Watford in the Premier League on Monday.

Ray Clemence has suggested on social networking site Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur won against Watford on Monday due to the saves made by Hugo Lloris.
Lloris played well for Tottenham, as the North London outfit got the better of the Hornets 2-0 at the Wembley Stadium in the Premier League.
The France international goalkeeper made a number of good saves, as Spurs maintained their chances of finishing in the top four of the league table this season.
Former Tottenham goalkeeper Clemence was following the match, and the 69-year-old ex-England international was impressed with the display produced by the 31-year-old, who has been on the books of Spurs since 2012 when he joined from Lyon for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £11.8 million.

Lloris has made mistakes from time to time this season and has been criticised by Tottenham fans – as reported on HITC Sport – but against Watford on Monday evening, the Frenchman was flawless.
The 31-year-old, who earns £100,000 per week as salary according to Spotrac.com, made some superb saves and looked to be at his best.
The win against Watford means that Tottenham are now fourth in the Premier League table with 71 points from 35 matches.
