Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium opened at the weekend for a test event to showcase the under-18s.

Ex-star Ray Clemence was one of numerous former Tottenham heroes in attendance and he has given a big thumbs up.

Clemence commented on Twitter to relay his thoughts, stating that the wait was worth it.

Tottenham’s stadium was originally pencilled in to open in September.

The delay has been difficult at times for fans and players.

Clemence’s comments reflect the mood of the fans, that it was all worthwhile.
