Tottenham Hotspur hammered Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday.
Ray Clemence has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Tottenham Hotspur’s win against Stoke City at home.
Tottenham hammered Stoke 5-1 at the Wembley Stadium in London in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Former Spurs goalkeeper Clemence was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
The 69-year-old has also praised the display produced by Son Heung-min, who scored in the 53rd minute and had a great game overall.
The 25-year-old South Korea international, who can operate as a winger or as a forward, has been on the books of Tottenham since the summer of 2015 when he joined from Bayer Leverkusen for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £22 million.
Former Manchester City striker Shaun Goater has also praised Tottenham, and has suggested on Twitter that pressure on Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is increasing, with the Potters in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
