Speaking on the Premier League’s YouTube channel, Aaron Cresswell has been discussing Michail Antonio’s pace and physical presence.

The defender was playing a game where he had to build his ultimate teammate based on stats you’d find on a FIFA Ultimate Team card, and when it came to physicality, Cresswell didn’t hesitate when it came to picking Antonio.

“I’m going to put Michail Antonio there, because he’s another you know, beast. I’ve played against Mich, maybe seven or eight years ago when I was at Ipswich and he was at Sheff Wed, he was younger and I think he was even quicker back then. Just the raw ability to grab hold of someone and absolutely bully them,” Cresswell said.

“The two centre-halves when they come up against Antonio must be absolutely dreading the game the night before, they know they’re not going to get an easy game.”

Antonio must be an absolute nightmare to play against.

The striker isn’t the best finisher in the league, nor is he the trickiest, but the fact that he combines strength, pace and determination so well makes him a dangerous weapon for West Ham.

Cresswell says that Antonio was even quicker back when he was at Sheffield Wednesday, and that’s a scary thought when you consider just how fast the West Ham forward is.
