Ravel Morrison has stated in a blunt fashion on Instagram that Arsenal were ‘never going to get relegated’ after their 4-0 win against West Brom on Saturday.
When Arsenal were suffering defeat after defeat in recent weeks, there were questions as to whether those in North London are in a relegation battle.
If another so-called lesser side was in Arsenal’s position then going by their form and league position, it would have been agreed that they were in a fight to survive.
Well, after SportBible posted the following message on their Instagram page about Arsenal being ‘relegation threatened’ and now creeping behind ‘title contenders’ Chelsea, former Manchester United academy product, Morrison issued this response:
“We was never going to get relegated,” said the playmaker added with laughing emojis.
Well, whilst Arsenal fans were fearing the worst a number of weeks ago, they are now back on track and that Mikel Arteta process is being trusted that little bit more.
Not only have they picked up the points, but they are also looking like the Arsenal of old, especially the second goal they scored against West Brom from the weekend.
The best thing for Arsenal is that they will be hoping they have left their worst run of form for the first-half of the campaign and they can now drive forward during this second period and the business end of the season.
