Ravel Morrison has sent a message to Jesse Lingard, as his move to West Ham United edged closer last night.
Sky Sports say that West Ham and Manchester United have now reached an agreement for Lingard, which will see the attacking midfielder join David Moyes’s side until the end of the season.
And Morrison was very pleased that his former teammate at Old Trafford would be making the same move that he once did from Manchester United to West Ham.
He wrote: “My bro, let’s get this work!’
Lingard has been starved of regular first-team football at Old Trafford in recent times, but he should play far more regularly at West Ham.
The 28-year-old moves to the Hammers at a good time too, as West Ham are currently flying high.
Moyes has led West Ham to six victories in as many games, and because of that Lingard may have to be patient.
Moyes surely won’t want to be making too many alterations to West Ham’s starting line-up currently, but Lingard’s impending arrival should inject some added quality and increase competition for places in the advanced midfield areas.
