The former West Ham United midfielder has reacted to Saturday’s events at the London Stadium on Twitter.
Ravel Morrison has emerged as an unlikely peacemaker in the rift between West Ham United’s supporters and owners.
West Ham’s 3-0 defeat at home to Burnley on Saturday was marred by ugly scenes which saw several Hammers fans invaded the pitch in protest at the way in which their club is being run.
But Morrison, whose current club, Atlas of Mexico, are his seventh in six years, has urged everyone at his old side to stick together as they battle relegation from the Premier League.
The 25-year-old tweeted:
Morrison, whose career has been shrouded in controversy, played 24 times for West Ham and scored on five occasions but saw his contract terminated four months before it was due to expire, in February 2015.
He has since turned out for Lazio, Queens Park Rangers and Atlas [both loan].
West Ham’s defeat leaves them 16th in the table and only three points clear of the bottom three positions.
