Raphinha has really rubbed salt in the wounds of Tim Krul after Leeds United’s win on Sunday afternoon.
Rodrigo scored the winner as Leeds beat Norwich City 2-1 at Carrow Road for their second Premier League win of a poor season thus far.
And it was an awful goalkeeping error from the Dutchman which allowed Rodrigo to be the hero for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
After the game, Raphinha, who opened the scoring for the Whites, posted a screenshot on Instagram of a Daily Mail article from 2019.
In it, Krul is photographed squaring up to then-Leeds hitman Kemar Roofe after a Canaries win over the Elland Road club.
The Brazilian winger wasn’t even at the West Yorkshire club at the time of that defeat.
But once you’re Leeds, you’re Leeds all the way and cheekily reminding Krul of that on social media is testament to that philosophy.

Head over heels
This sort of content is extra heartwarming for Leeds supporters.
It would be funny even if Raphinha was a nothing player and just a wind-up merchant.
But the fact that he’s absolutely brilliant and a bit of a troll with a penchant for devilment makes it all the sweeter.
This is a rare player and it isn’t hard to see why the Elland Road faithful have fallen head-over-heels in love with him over the past 15 months or so.
