Some Liverpool fans on social media have been getting very excited after A Bola reported that advanced negotiations are underway with Porto for the transfer of Otavio.
The midfielder has a €40m (£34.5m) release clause that reportedly expires at the end of the month, and the Portuguese outlet seem to believe that the Reds are keen to accelerate a deal.
The midfielder has been linked with Liverpool for some time now, and it seems as though things are progressing on that front.
As you can imagine, Reds supporters are excited at the prospect of making the Brazilian their second summer signing, and they’ve taken to social media to make their thoughts known.
One fan claimed that he’d rather sign Otavio than Jadon Sancho, while others were equally as excited by these reports.
Of course, whether or not these rumours are accurate remains to be seen, but A Bola are usually quite reliable with Portuguese transfers, so it seems as though Liverpool could be bringing the Porto ace to Anfield.
