Celtic and Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in the 24-year-old.

Ghana Football reported today that Celtic remain interested in signing Ghana international Rashid Sumaila in January.
The 24-year-old was, according to the outlet, “close to joining Celtic” in the summer as Brendan Rodgers sought cover for a central defensive crisis.
But it seems like the Northern Irishman remains interested, but if Wolverhampton Wanderers show an interest then the Al Qadsia defender should snub the Hoops for a stint at Molineux.

Ghana Soccernet reported last month that Championship leaders Wolves were planning a bid for Sumaila and it would and should be hard for him to reject Nuno’s side come January.
Celtic will most likely have the promise of Europa League football in the new year to offer their January targets, but Wolverhampton Wanderers might well be able to offer Premier League football come August and that alone should be enough to endear him to the West Midlands side.

Wolves have a seven-point cushion in the top two and automatic promotion, for now, looks pretty likely, though everything can change very quickly in the Championship.
Still, joining Wanders over Rodgers’s side might just be the smart move if he ever wants to test himself in England’s top flight.
