Tim Sherwood has said on Sky Sports News (1:33pm, February 11, 2023) that Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford would love to have Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane at Old Trafford.

The former Tottenham manager believes that Rashford would want his England international teammate Kane more at Manchester United than Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag.

Kane has been linked with a move to United in the summer transfer window.

The Daily Mail have claimed that Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid all are interested in securing the services of the 29-year-old England international in the summer of 2023.

Potential lethal combination

Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane play together for England, and we believe that they would be very lethal together at Manchester United.

Rashford is not a ‘traditional’ number 9 and is better off coming in from the wide.

However, the United forward is a very good goalscorer who has found the back of net 12 times already in the Premier League this season.

And we know that Kane is one of the best strikers on the planet who recently became the all-time top scorer in Tottenham’s history.

Kane and Son Heung-min have formed a formidable partnership at Tottenham over the years, and the former could develop something similar with Rashford at United.
