Leeds are searching for their first Premier League win of the new season and they need Raphinha at his dazzling best if they are to get, not just points, put some confidence on the board.
Well, the Brazilian certainly seems ready for the challenge because he posted this on Instagram:
Raphinha has shown glimpses of what he is about this season, but he hasn’t really put his foot down on the accelerator as much as he or the fans would have liked.
Against Burnley, prior to the international break, the quick-footed winger put a certain Charlie Taylor on his backside after his darting run from the flanks resulted in Patrick Bamford equalising at Turf Moor.
The Whites left with a point that day and now, on their next away trip, they will be hoping for all three.
Even though there is worry about Leeds’ defenders, and lack of them, three points should still be on the cards for Marcelo Bielsa’s men.
Newcastle are going to be without star striker Callum Wilson, they haven’t kept a clean sheet this season and someone like Raphinha must be licking his lips.
