Michael Dawson has said on Sky Sports that the injury that Leeds United winger Raphinha has suffered against Wolverhampton Wanderers today is “horrendous”.
Leeds played out a 1-1 draw with Wolves at Elland Road in the Premier League this afternoon.
Raphinha started the match and played well, impressing a number of Leeds fans.
However, a challenge from Romain Saiss in the opening minutes of the second half saw the 24-year-old Brazil international suffer a bad injury and taken off.
Former Tottenham Hotspur central defender Dawson was following the match for the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News.
And the Sky Sports pundit has said that it was a “horrendous” injury.

Dawson said on Sky Sports: “Leeds are on the attack down the right, Raphinha runs, Saiss slides across, Raphinha nicked the ball past him or goes to nick it.
“It looks like it is handball, as he follows through, he slides that far, he goes straight down Raphinha’s ankle.
“It was only on second glance that I had seen it. It looks in slow motion horrendous. He has got no yellow card, it was a follow-through.”
It was a really bad injury, and it remains to be seen when Raphinha is back in action again.
The winger is one of the best players in the Premier League and is a key figure at Leeds.
The Whites are struggling to win matches at the moment.
It will be a big blow for Leeds if the Brazil international is out for a number of weeks on the sidelines.
Leeds fans will hope that the 24-year-old does not miss too many games.
