Claudio Ranieri may just be Andrea Radrizzani’s dream Leeds United manager.

Claudio Ranieri has told Sky Sports that he would like to return to management in England one day after leaving French side Nantes on Saturday.
The Italian only became Nantes manager last summer, and guided the club to a ninth-place finish in Ligue 1, before differences with the club’s hierarchy emerged, and Ranieri left the club.
Ranieri, 66, is back on the market, and whilst an immediate return to management may not be on the cards, he does appear to be keen on a return to English football.
Ranieri not only managed Chelsea from 2000 to 2004, but then won the Premier League title with Leicester City in 2016, guiding the Foxes to top spot against all odds.

Now, Ranieri has told Sky Sports that he would love a return to England one day, and thay me be sooner rather than later given that he may not have many years left in management given his age.
“Why not? I don’t know now, but one day I’d like to come back to England,” said Ranieri. “I am waiting [for offers]. I have some good situations but I’m waiting to find the right solution,” he added.
That should be of relevance to Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani, given that he was quoted by the Daily Star in February as saying that he would want a manager like Ranieri in charge of the Whites.
Uncertainty still surrounds the future of Leeds boss Paul Heckingbottom, and with the Yorkshire Evening Post reporting that Ranieri’s availability has been ‘noted’ at Elland Road, his comments may just give Radrizzani plenty to think about this summer.
